The Research Participant Advisory Group provides:

  • Invaluable feedback to researchers and hospital administration

  • Opportunity for participant input to impact health outcomes through research

The Research Participant Advisory Group can provide

  • Input for your study design

  • Feedback on materials for your study

  • Guidance on how to approach and communicate the details about your study

The Research Participant Advisory Group is comprised of participant, family and community members who can serve on panels, focus groups, and boards, as well as in partnership on individual grants or projects. These activities can be one-time activities or on-going, as-needed.

Additionally, there are three monthly standing advisory groups that provide a structured way to capture the research participant/community perspective and input. Anyone at the Academic Health Center can utilize these advisory groups to connect with research participants, their family members and/or community.
