PRACTICE BASED RESEARCH NETWORKS

The following PBRNs are supported by the CCTST and can be consulted for best practices on engaging and recruitment within local community practices.

CINCINNATI PEDIATRIC RESEARCH GROUP (CPRG)

The Cincinnati Pediatric Research Group (CPRG) is a regional practice-based research network. Founded in 1996, the CPRG provides an infrastructure to catalyze community-academic partnerships by regularly eliciting the needs and interests of physicians in community practices and cultivating academic partners with shared goals on prioritized topics. Half of the pediatric practices in the Greater Cincinnati Region have participated in a research or quality improvement project in the past decade. Projects span a wide range of topics, including ADHD, obesity, asthma, pneumonia, and many others.

For more information about CPRG, please contact Bill Brinkman, MD, MEd, MSc.

CINCINNATI AREA RESEARCH IMPROVEMENT GROUP NETWORK (CARING)

The goal and mission of the Cincinnati Area Research Improvement Group Network (CARInG) is to improve the quality of care within primary care practices in the greater Cincinnati region.

For more information about CARInG, please contact Saundra L. Regan, PhD.
