Melissa Creary, PhD, to Discuss Strategies for Building an Infrastructure for Equity


The CCTST is excited to welcome Melissa Creary, PhD, MPH, from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, who will be presenting at both our Community Engagement Speaker Series event on Thursday, November 7, 2024 and our Grand Rounds seminar on Friday, November 8, 2024.


We are pleased to host our first in-person Community Engagement Speaker Series dinner event since the onset of the pandemic!

  • The CCTST Community Engagement Core is hosting the 2024 Speaker Series dinner and award reception on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 6:00pm at the Summit Hotel, featuring keynote speaker, Dr. Melissa Creary. Dr. Creary’s presentation is titled, “Navigating the Unstable Table: The Power and Responsibility of Inclusivity”. 2024 CCTST Community Advocacy, Partnership and Research Awardees will also be presented and celebrated. Registration is now closed, but awardee information will be highlighted in our next NewsBrief.


  • Our CCTST November Grand Rounds is on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 12:00pm-1:00pm. The presentation is titled, “Toward What Justice? Building an Infrastructure for Equity”, also featuring Dr. Melissa Creary. The meeting will be hybrid, both at CCHMC T10.134 and Zoom. Click here for more information and to register.
