EVALUATION PROGRAM

ABOUT THE EVALUATION PROGRAM

The CCTST Evaluation Program is responsible for developing and implementing an evaluation strategy to assess the overall goals and service objectives of each program within the CCTST. We offer a range of skills and expertise to assist programs to build strategies and techniques to review existing programs and initiatives, monitor the progress of ongoing activities, and identify program impact and potential for improvement.

CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT (CQI) & EVALUATION

Our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) is grounded in the Model for Improvement and Quality as an Organizational Strategy (QOS). This approach encompasses broad expertise in user-centered design methods, human factors engineering, Lean methodologies, advanced statistical process control, and complex system analytic and multi-factor experimentation. These capabilities and staff enable us to understand and measure systems processes and performance, design interventions and innovations to overcome roadblocks, and rigorously test and refine approaches for optimizing performance. Specifically, our initiatives include developing a dashboard  assess key processes, metrics, and outcomes identified by Elements and their activities to decrease barriers to translational science and research.

DATA MANAGEMENT

We will incorporate a software system designed to support the operational workflow and reporting needs of CTSA hubs using a common data model. The software will serve as a data management tool and repository to provide resources and services tracking, CCTST website tracking, user data, membership surveys, semi-structured interviews, case studies, and impact stories.
